I graduated with a BSc(Physio) degree from the University of Cape Town in 2002. After completing my year of community service in South Africa I relocated to London, UK to pursue my dream of working abroad. For my first 2 years in London I worked as a locum physiotherapist in several NHS hospitals gaining experience in various fields. In 2005 I moved into the private sector where I gained a special interest in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy and Orthopaedics. Over the next two years I moved up the ranks from a junior physiotherapist to a Team Leader position. In 2008 I moved to a small private practice where I learnt a great deal about neck and back pain and this is when I completed my Pilates training. I also developed a keen interest in posture and motor control and in 2010 I moved to a large physiotherapy group in London where I worked as a Specialist Rehabilitation Physiotherapist. Here I worked with some of the best Physiotherapists in London and this is where I really honed my skills as a physiotherapist. 2012 saw me returning to South Africa and after working as a locum physiotherapist for 2 years I noticed a gap in the market for personalised, excellent physiotherapy services and decided to open up Terri-Anne Boers Physiotherapy in Fairland,

On a personal level I am a wife and a mother of two. I am a novice runner whose knees grumble and feet complain but I love half marathons and will continue running as long as my body will allow me to! I have been doing Crossfit for 6 years and regularly treat fellow crossfitters and weightlifters. I am passionate about physiotherapy and the impact it can have on improving quality of life and enjoyment of exercise.
